This complex is outstanding, by far the best I have lived in. Its clean and the staff along with the community are extremly friendly. Being in the military and having a kid and a wife it can be chellenging to find a place to live.
Everybody wants that perfect little spot they can call home, even though its an apartment complex I'm thrilled to call this place home. If you want to be close enough to the great city of boston but far enough away that you can find a park to go for a walk this is the place. Its only a short drive to the train so you can hop on and go enjoy a night or day in the city without the headache of traffic.
Its a safe area with little crime and the bulding has a security code to get inside. When I deploy I can rest peacefully and focus on my job at hand knowing that my wife and little one are safe at home. It has a pool and beautiful landscaping that is very greatly maintained. If you are looking for a nice reasonably priced apartment near boston this is where you need to look.

I highly recommend the Highlands at Dearborn as your new home! I've been living here for a few years now. Overall, it's a decent place to live. The interior is pretty nice.
I know a few tenants and they all got brand new rugs and a fresh coat of paint when they moved in, but that's probably because they allow pets and smoking. If you look too closely at the cabinets, granite countertops, etc. Stove is gas, which is fine, but the gas oven can be a turn-off for some people.
I live on a middle floor but very rarely have I had any noise disturbances. I think I may have gotten lucky because there are plenty of kids around. The overall average age seems to be range. I enjoy the solitude, but if you're looking to make friends, everyone kind of keeps to themselves.
Everyone in the office is super friendly and maintenance is pretty quick to fix anything from a broken light bulb they'll replace anything ceiling lights or fridge lights, except for track lighting to unclogging your drain, etc. You can get satellite I think DirectTV but only if your balcony faces the right direction. There's also a big pool area with a pair of communal grills, and a small workout room.
As you can expect, the grills can get busy so eventually you stop trying to use them. You CAN get a garage, but there's no guarantee that it will be part of your building, and you'll probably be on a wait list if it's near the winter months. If you show up late at night, you have to park illegally, no way around it. Overall, it's a decent place to live, but you certainly Highlands at dearborn reviews for it--and there's not much to do in the area if you're young late 20s --it's definitely the suburbs. From the very start of my apartment hunting experience the rental staff was awesome.
I was moving from out of state and had never lived in an apartment before Wonderful experience and beautiful clean apartment! This is an excellent community.
